All right, VOT'ers, I don't know about you, but this cold weather is making me thirsty. Join us for a drink or two or more at Goldies Bar. It's not hard to get carried away when they're serving you $1 pints or $4 pitchers of Pabst. But if Pabst ain't your thang, no need to fret, Goldies has a full bar.

This place isn't huge, so you may want to get there early to claim your spot. Goldies is not a fancy place either, but they do have a jukebox, a dart board, and Ms. Pac Man. So there.

You won't have any trouble getting there. It's conveniently located on Lincoln Ave. just a few block south of Irving Park and a little north of Grace and a little west of Damen.

If you're taking the L, the Irving Park Brown Line stop is your best bet.

If you're busing it, you've got three to choose from...

* Damen bus (#50) to Byron St.
* Irving Park (#80) to Grace St.
