We at Vegan Chicago have plenty to be thankful for, not the least being our incredible and ever-expanding community of peaceful, compassionate people here in Chicago. Join us as we reflect, give thanks, and a tip a few cocktails to mark the season.
The Village Tap will be reserving a section in the beer garden just for us. Don't worry if the temperatures take a dive - they have promised to keep us toasty in the garden with heaters.
They have 40 beers on draft and a full bar if beer doesn't excite you like it does some of us. Even if you're not a drinker, join us anyway for a soft drink or some other non-alcoholic beverage. We'd love to have you there regardless of where you fall on the imbibing spectrum.
The Village Tap is located on Roscoe St., a couple blocks west of Damen Ave.
If you're taking the L, the Paulina Brown Line stop will put you a little more than 1/2 mile east. After you get off, walk a short distance south to Roscoe, then west on Roscoe for several blocks.
If you're busing it...
* Damen bus (#50) to Roscoe St.
* Belmont bus (#77) to Hoyne Ave.
* Addison bus (#152) to Hoyne Ave.

Moms are totally welcome as long as they don't mind a few swears here n there. :D
Eh, it will probably be my mom doing all the swearing. And totally not kidding about that. :)
I've never been there but am definitely interested. Anyone know if there's vegan food served there as well?
