Leafleting - Temple Grandin Book Signing

Harold Washington Library (map)

Selected By: A former member

Join us to leaflet the public attending Temple Grandin's book signing of Animals Make Us Human: Creating the Best Life for Animals. Grandin is best known as an author and designer of slaughterhouse and factory farm systems. Details on the reading are here: ChiPubLibEvents.

This should be a good opportunity to reach an interested audience with our factual and well-referenced booklets on the brutal treatment of animals in modern agriculture. Each person who goes veg can spare thousands in a lifetime, and feedback assures us that these booklets cause many to change. To find the event, please look for Leslie, who will be wearing a Vegan Chicago Organizer button.

For more information on this event, please contact Leslie. An RSVP is not required, but it will help us determine the correct number of leaflets to bring. We will also notify you if we have to cancel the event due to bad weather (or you can call the day of the event to confirm).

Taking effective action spares animals. Caring about them, talking about them, crying and yelling for them does not. Join us in this work.
