Vegan Chicago Meetup at Arya Bhavan
For the month of September, we're setting our sights on Arya Bhavan, an Indian vegetarian and vegan restaurant located in the heart of ever-bustling Devon Avenue.
For $15.50 (tax, tip, and Amazon fee included), attendees will feast on a fabulous all-you-can-eat buffet consisting of the varied regional cuisines of India, as well as a vegan dessert prepared especially for our group.
Please consider coming out to share and enjoy a wonderful meal and lively conversation.

EmilyAlthough the food at Arya Bhavan was delicious, it was very difficult to talk to and meet people at the meet up. Because my friend and I arrived 20 minutes late, we had a limited choice of seating. It was both of our first times at a vegan meetup and only Dave and Debra, the organizers, actually talked to us. Although it may have been our fault for not reaching out and sneaking into people's conversations,
no one really reached out or gave us an in so that we could. Most attendees really seemed to just be there with people they knew, which was unexpected. Although it's really an art to do this right, it would have been nice if there had been something to help break the ice or a way of setting up the tables so we could all mingle more easily.
