Hey Guys,

I am trying to help my sister find a home for Roxy, a 2 year old Pit Bull. Roxy belonged to my brother-in-law's dad who recently passed away. They took in Roxy for the time being, but cannot keep her since they already have 2 other large dogs (a husky and an akita). Roxy gets along with both dogs.

I know some of you may be thinking no way cuz she is a Pit Bull. But I met Roxy this pass weekend and she is the sweetest dog. Everytime I sat down, she would put her head on my lap or would lean on me. She loves to be pet and loves body contact. Roxy is 60 pounds of pure muscle, but size-wise, she is not very big. So if you or anyone you know would like to take in a loving and affectionate lap dog, please forward this on or let me know. Unfortunately, my sister can only keep Roxy for another few weeks, so this is of time importance. I've also attached a few pictures of Roxy.

OMG, what a sweetie! I currently have 2 cats in a one-bedroom apartment, so I wouldn't be able to give her the space and attention she deserves, but I will pass on the word.

Sophie, I can take her in for a while and place her with a permanent home. It sounds like you only have a couple weeks or else she may go to a shelter, correct? If thats the case, Id be happy to take her in and place her with a perm home by placing ads...let me know...Matt. 773-621-6442

Matt, I spoke with my friend and the owner of the dog did some research (thank goodness) and realized that most shelters kill pitbulls so the owner will hold onto Roxy until she finds a permanent home for her. Thanks for offering!!
