Word* is there's a new vegan friendly bar called LateBar in Avondale (that's quickly becoming a hot neighborhood!) down the street from DragonLady. Haven't been there yet but they just opened the past week.

Vegetarian or Vegan:

Let our bartenders know so we can pour you a drink without animal products. We can substitute soy milk for cream in any of our drinks. (Soy White Russians are divine.)

cool

*shoutout to the CSD for the tip

I didn't hear anything about the vegan options while I was there, but it wouldn't surprise me. The owners Dave and Kristine are great people that take everyone's needs into consideration.

Yeah I don't drink white russians so I wouldn't think to find out either but other than that most drinks would be vegan by default anyways. Nice to know it's an option for white russian drinkers.

Why is the straightedge person posting this:

http://www.barnivore....

It'd be interesting if there were actually any bar anywhere that only served vegan booze.

*I only avoid products where actual animals parts reside withIN the product. NO product would be "vegan" otherwise.

That's true. Otherwise you could never drive a car or even ride on a bus.

Aren't car tires made with animal products?
