VEGAN ON TAP - RECAP
Vegan On Tap @ The LateBar was pretty swell. A small bunch showed up and we never did get to dance but perhaps that's because we were too busy chattin it up. I have to say they do have a KILLER vegan white russian. I don't usually drink fancy cocktails and I only did so in honor of my drinking buddy Pamela but I have to say I did enjoy that one. Everybody from the bartender to the DJs and the owners were gracious, friendly and awesome overall. I think I'm going to have to become a regular! LateBar, go early and often!

VEGAN ADVOCACY OPPORTUNITIES
The average person eats about 35 farm animals per year, adding up to thousands in a lifetime. Leafleting with literature on factory farming has been shown to be effective in creating new vegans and persuading others to reduce their consumption of animal products. By educating the public about animals suffering on factory farms we can inspire others to spare thousands, if not millions of animals, and ultimately work towards the end of exploitation. Join us!

WHAT ELSE?
Ya know, we put other events up on the calendar n stuff. When vegan related events come up that are not Vegan Chicago specific we add them as "calendar notes". We don't tend to broadcast these types of non-VC things in our emails so keep yer peepers on that calendar for the local vegan haps. Check it:
