Well since you asked I would love to know how you made the rice dumpling dish.I made Tteokbokki. It's really quite simple. The key ingredients are the dduk (or tteok- rice cake) and gohchoojang (red pepper paste). Both are available in a good east asian market. Recipe interpretations vary widely but it's hard to go wrong and fun to experiment with. This recipe looks pretty good. The last one I used kinda bombed cuz I cooked it more like a stew than a stir fry and it got kinda mushy. Sorry, is that vague enough fer ya? ![]() Edited by Dave Dandelion on Mar 11, 2010 2:23 AM |

So sorry for the delay...
I used this pan, and the cake recipes came from Vegan Cupcakes Take Over the World... 'Your Basic Chocolate Cupcake' and a suggested variation (Lemony Vanilla) of 'Golden Vanilla Cupcakes'. For the cream filling, I used the recipe here, minus the barley malt powder. I've made the filling with barley malt powder, but I personally prefer it without. It's kinda hard to find, anyway. Have fun! Edited by Debra on Apr 6, 2010 1:06 PM |
