This is what happens when people believe in out-dated non-scientific folk medical practices. TCM is not vegan. Please ditch the magical thinking and avoid such practices* at least for the animals it causes people to maim and kill. This really is disgusting. This among other actions such as the slaying of mountain gorillas in Virunga makes me ashamed of the human species. We are literally destroying life on earth.

This really is disgusting. This among other actions such as the slaying of mountain gorillas in Virunga makes me ashamed of the human species. We are literally destroying life on earth. I know it's tempting but I hesitate to blame our species as a whole. We are also capable of great compassion and promise. The gorilla slayings were senseless as they don't even think poachers were involved. But when people poach animals for a specific small stupid part because of some magic concoctions humans made up is completely reprehensible. I don't even blame the poachers so much as the people who drive a market for it. |
