VEGAN CHICAGO MEETUP RECAP: August
So this months's dine-out was a little bit off the beaten path at La Fontanella Restaurant. It's a small little Italian restaurant that responded to the vegan demand and made up a vegan-friendly menu for our event. People had a delicious meal and photos have been posted. Thanks to everybody who came out for this unique event!

After the meal local chocolatier Chocolate Inspirations had a table set up full of decadent samples for dessert. These included delights such as raspberry naked caramel cups, naked caramel cups, chocolate-topped caramel cups, chocolate-covered granola bark, coconut brittle, English toffee, cinnamon toast toffee, peanut butter pillows (with and without chocolate), and fudge. Wow! Thanks Chocolate Inspirations for your generous visit!

VEGAN ON TAP RECAP: August
That same night we had the Vegan On Tap event at Ten Cat Tavern. It was a beautiful night for beer garden action save for the mosquitoes who were eating us alive. I just gotta give a shout-out to Anish for going on an insect repellant run that allowed us to imbibe until we closed the beer garden down! Thanks Bob for setting that up! *hic!*
