Social networking is an easy and fun way to connect with other people who are vegan AND advocate veganism! We highly encourage all of our members to take advantage of these easy opportunities.
Here are some our our favorite places:

Meetup
Meetup is a great way to coordinate events for strangers (and friends) with similar interests. It's how we started here at Vegan Chicago! We now use Meetup.com as our main hub since our focus is on social real-life events. In fact our domain VeganChicago.com will take you right to our meetup site!

Yelp
Yelp is a community driven review website. Any business can be reviewed here and it has a thriving community that keeps all information on restaurants current. Restaurants come, go, change locations and menus but Yelp is usually on top of it. If not it's easy to contribute. We use this as our main way to disseminate information about vegan businesses and restaurants. Don't rely on outdated static websites or pamphlets, go to Yelp and be our friend!
